The silence on this blog is a little deafening, so I decided to make a super huge update post! This is what I look like when I'm rushing out the door. But these photos were taken yesterday. Okay, I'm going to bulletpoint because I'm going to be late for school:
 

1 - 4: My lazy outfit. Oh my gosh. Am I the only one that remembers these Jansport backpacks? I was rummaging through my closet and found this one from 8th grade. Too bad I look like a 12 year old when I'm supposed to be in college. 

5: Just some photos I wanted to share that capture what my reaction was when I was interviewing STARFUCKER/STRFKR on my crappy phone from the 8th grade/freshman year of high school. Seriously, it's a Sony Ericsson W200i or something. Circa 2007. UGH I NEED A NEW PHONE.

 6: Here's a quick v-log on the updates for Fluorescent Adolescent magazine! I got to do an on the phone interview with STARFUCKER/STRFKR.

My camera is my one true love (aside from food). So I guess, technically I am very broken hearted right now because after being very very clumsy, I dropped my camera. You know, the funny thing is when I dropped it on cement/pavement, NOTHING HAPPENED. Seriously. Just a little scratch. But I dropped it in my room (where there's carpet) and then it just breaks. Luckily, the body is fine, but my 18-55mm lens are not. It can't auto-focus anymore, and they're coming apart. It still works, but only manually, and it's very very fragile. So, after crying a little, sniffling, and frowning, I purchased replacement lens. My bank account is starving. The woes of being a college student! So, my order is expected to arrive next week on Tuesday, so hopefully they'll stay true to their promise.

So, for the meanwhile, here's a few of my favorite shots that I've taken so far for the 365 Day project. I've been taking photos every day, but a bit too preoccupied with classes to update (and I got an A- on my speech! I have terrible stage fright, but I'm getting better!).

Sorry for the horrible quality! My camera is packed away and my laptop is going in next. But by the time you read this, I'll be in Boston (or on the way to Boston)! I probably won't have time to update, but I'll definitely try. Maybe the Peter Pan coach bus I'm taking will have WiFi so I can go on twitter and tweet you guys things or maybe I'll be too busy sleeping! I went to the Skins party today (more on that in a later post) and I haven't slept since, haha. I'm a little crazy. I still haven't finished packing yet, but my friend and I are meeting in two hours at 6 AM to head to Port Authority! YAY! I'm so excited.

And even though he doesn't read this, I'd like to wish my not so little anymore brother a happy fifteenth birthday! YAY! He's such a brat but he's still family.

I am going to start off by saying that I am so absolutely UPSET and angry at my haircut and color. I'm a very picky person when it comes to my hair. It's the only thing I really like about myself and I need it to be perfect. My mom brought me to this new hair salon and I REALLY did not want to go. Once I like a hair stylist, I hate going to a new one because the new one almost never gets it right. And, well, I was right.

First off, my side bangs are REALLY short. They're so short they tend to stick out like little tufts of hair and it's so short it keeps falling into my eyes and falling away from the other section of my side bangs. It's so irritating. And secondly, they got the color all wrong. My mom paid for my hair today, so I feel really bad, but honestly, I am so upset. She says it looks fine, but I think she paid $100 for my hair to look like it's BLACK. And when the light shines on it, it looks red. I wanted it to be purple, sort of like Katy Perry's hair from the Firework video. Sort of like a really strong blackish purple. I even picked it out from the swatches they had and I end up with this hair cut and after they dyed it and I sat there for two hours and they washed and dried it, it turned out black with a red tint. Thirdly, I always layer my hair, but I feel like I have a mullet right now. It sticks up in all the wrong places. AHH.

I was so upset after the hair appointment, I took some outfit photos but they're mostly of me tugging at my hair and making mad faces so I'll have to retake them when I feel better about this disastrous haircut.

Has anyone ever had to deal with a bad hair cut? How'd your experience go?

Thank you SO MUCH HP for your amazing an timely tech service. They totally told me that I'd get my charger by the 19th (hopefully), but it turns out that they delivered my charger by overnight delivery and I managed to obtain it this morning as a nice surprise from my good night's rest.

This outfit was something that I was thinking up for about a while now, but only because I was at a standstill about the color of these tights and I was trying to think of what would go with them. I realize that this outfit definitely contains a lot of blue/blue-related colors. I'm definitely not used to wearing all solids, so it was really weird for me to actually wear an outfit of solid colors. I like a little pattern in there to make things interesting. But this belt belongs to my mother and it's about ten years old. The reason why I don't wear it much is because it's a bit too flashy for my taste, and it's wearing out in the back. I hope it won't rip or anything, because I actually really come to appreciate the detailing of the studs and the 'pop' it gives to certain outfits.

About the job interview that I went to, it went pretty well, and now they're just checking my references. Hopefully, I'll get a call or an e-mail within a few days! As a broke college student, I definitely need all the extra cash I can get. Books are so expensive! My biggest pet peeve is when the teacher makes you purchase an expensive textbook and we don't even end up using it! :(

Now, I'll try to catch up on posting my outfits, though I did seem to get a little lazy these past few days by living in sweats and leggings and my beat up sneakers! I hope everyone has an amazing Friday! I'll be sitting home and watching the House marathon that's on right now on USA.

Technology Hates Me!

This is just a quick update. I probably won't be back until the 19th of October. My HP Compaq laptop charger decided to die on me. Luckily, the nice people at HP (and my warranty) decided to cover and send me a replacement, which will, according to them, arrive on the 19th! I'll miss you guys. At least this will give me somewhat of a reason to study for midterms, haha.
